"Crazy Gardeners"
All the picture captions below come from Alan, for which my grateful thanks.
Area between Manzanas 31 & 33
- still laying gravel and pathways, and laying larger rocks for more features.

Area bewteen Manzanas 19 & 20
- this is the area worked on during the last two weeks. The work is heavy-going here as the soil is so hard that pick-axes are having to be used to break the top few inches of soil. You can already see the improvement, and as weeks go on this area will hopefully start to look like area 33. Thus the reason for the Fund Raising BBQ (scheduled for Wednesday 15th July - see here), it is not only for larger plants that will give height to the worked areas, but also for buying gravel. Rocks we have plenty of, but really need to hire a crane/lorry as they are too heavy to lift.

This is bad news. Unfortunately the goats ran riot last week, I believe unattended. They destroyed or tried to eat some of the plants put in the ground last week. The gardeners did not give up, but have tried to replant them and hopefully they will survive.

As can be seen, many plants have already been placed in the ground, and rocks are now being selected for placement in appropriate positions.
